A rundown of the newest OFAC-listed crypto addresses, the chains they sit on, and what to check before you act.

OFAC added 31 new cryptocurrency addresses to the sanctions lists that WalletDNA screens against since the previous update. The breakdown by chain is 20 on Ethereum, 6 on Bitcoin, 2 on Solana, and 3 where the chain could not be determined from the address format alone. All 31 were issued by OFAC, and the combined list WalletDNA tracks now totals 999 addresses.

Chain labels here are inferred from the shape of each address, not stated by OFAC itself, which does not always specify a chain when it publishes a listing. Treat the chain field as a working assumption, not a fact from the issuing authority, until you confirm it against the underlying source list.

What this means for your screening work

A fresh batch of 31 addresses is a small but real expansion of exposure surface. If any of these addresses, or wallets that have transacted with them, appear in a client's transaction history, that's now a sanctions match that wasn't there before this update. The practical risk is in downstream exposure: counterparties, mixers, or intermediate wallets that touched a newly listed address before it was listed.
